Toyota hasn't been lying idle while all other manufacturers have been churning out their small cars.

The Etios is the Jap giant?s latest small car slated for global release. Toyota will be making the Etios in India before anywhere else in the world. This should ensure that the Etios will be able to hold its own on the price front against the competition - so expect pricing to be in the same territory as the Swift. Engines are expected to be eclectic too - the 1.4-litre diesel from the Toyota Yaris, and possibly a 1.2-litre petrol. A sedan version will follow later.

you must have seen the yaris. the etios is ugly and it does not have what it takes to give the swift competition | Reply

the etios is not at all like the yaris it is an ugly and outdated design | Reply

    it is not a new model, it is a facelift of their Echo which is discontinued from international market in 2005. only front grill and bonet and tale lamp changed. | Reply
