Sports in India, barring a few cricketers , soccer players and self-made tennis players was always considered a "Hobby" and never a "MILLIONAIRE PROFESSION".Sachin Tendulkar has raised the bar for other sportsmen in India in achieving wealth out of proficiency in the sporting arena.Agreed, cricket is the richest and most popular sport of India, but then all sports are never equal in popularity in any Country, let alone India. | Reply
