India's Best Cars Under Rs 10 Lakh

Large Hatch competitors

Large-hatch-comp-Swift

1). Maruti Suzuki Swift

Chervolet Aveo

The Ritz may have shaken its own cousin's safe spot at the top of the large hatch heap, but the Swift still remains one of the most competitive cars in the country especially in its diesel form. Youthful and muscular styling, great handling, good space and class-busting fuel efficiency, the Swift is still the hatchback of choice for teeming hoards around the country.

Mr. Rahul, if you know driving please drive one and then comment. I have driven it and it is so underpowered in low gears. Even maruti 800 overtook it right under my nose. The guy from dealership was embarrassed. | Reply

Lol .... Chandan, I guess you werent driving the car but just dreaming .... atleast dont sound like a 8 yr old while commenting on the net. I would also suggest that you get some professional driving lessons (if you are an adult) so that you realize how to 'actually' drive a car and then maybe we would like to listen to your intellegent comments here. | Reply

I think u guys(zigwheels) first need to do a lot of home work. Punto offered in europe(same model as offered in India) is no.1 and best seller since launch (from last 2 years) in it's class | Reply

I would say Putno would be the best in this category. I own 1.4 Fire and I have not had such great ride, handling, and suspension in any other car mentioned here. Even in performance, Punto is as good as the rest in in-gear acceleration, one needs to attain mid-range rpms early to get best results. | Reply
