Pune-based bikemaker Bajaj Auto has entered into a joint venture with US motorcycle manufacturer MotoCzysz LLC for developing an automobile of the future

American motorcycle-maker MotoCzysz LLC has joined hands with Bajaj Auto limited for developing a Next Generation automobile that will focus on bringing a product that will be packed with futuristic innovative automotive technologies to improve overall efficiency without compromising on aesthetics and performance. Aptly named as "Dream", the project promises to pave the way for eco-friendly yet stylish and performance packed automobiles of the future. The basis of the "Dream" project will be green technologies and lightweight cycle parts that will significantly improve the efficiency of the automobile.

MotoCzysz has had previous experience in the field of internal combustion engines as well as electric motorcycles. They also entered an electric sports motorcycle in world's first zero emission race, the TTXGP, held at the Isle of Man this year in June. With Motoczysz's expertise in developing radical automobiles with innovative technologies and Bajaj Auto's strong R&D coupled with effective low-cost manufacturing ability, the concoction can yield very fruitful results for affordable automobiles in the times to come. Both the companies are very excited about this new project and the work on first prototype will begin by the end of this month, at the MotoCzysz facility in Portland, Oregon.

"Michael Czysz has a rare skill set with first hand experience in internal combustion, electrification, motorcycle and overall environmental design. Given his unique design background and history of innovation we are excited about the possibilities of this project" says Rajiv Bajaj, MD of BAL. "When I walked through the gates of Bajaj I was immediately moved, the place, the people and the family are inspiring, it feels like anything is possible and the level of competence I saw was world class, Bajaj is an ideal partner." says Michael Czysz.
